It will also review a number of heritage names that have had prominent roles in preserving the permanence of local heritage and in appreciation of their distinguished contributions to its support, development, and spread.

The current year’s theme, “Heritage and Creativity,” reflects Sharjah’s commitment to enhancing the presence of a culture of local heritage in various activities held on its soil. The city aims to absorb all possible heritage aspects, whether at the environmental, urban, or societal levels, including etiquette, poems, tales, proverbs, costumes, and traditions.
