Palm Hills has unveiled a prestigious scholarship initiative, providing full funding for exceptional high school graduates to attend Badya University. This initiative is part of a strategic partnership with the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). The scholarships cover all tuition fees and include specialized career training programs designed to ensure students’ future professional success. Graduates will also benefit from employment opportunities upon completion of their studies.
“Education is a cornerstone for building a prosperous future, and we at Palm Hills are committed to fostering it,” stated Yasseen Mansour, Chairman & CEO of Palm Hills. “Our vision is to advance education to improve quality of life and offer opportunities to Egyptian youth. By investing in top-tier educational institutions that meet global standards, we are reinforcing our commitment to the educational sector. This vision was central to the creation of Badya City, which aims to be a forward-thinking city and a leading educational hub in West Cairo.”
Badya University, a collaboration between Palm Hills and Taaleem Management Services, is set within Badya City—Palm Hills’ largest project and Egypt’s first sustainable smart city in West Cairo. The university is poised to become a key player in educational excellence.
The university will house eight academic faculties, accommodating up to 12,500 students. The academic year will begin next September with the launch of five faculties: Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Business Administration & Economics, and Computing & Data Science.
Badya University, established through its partnership with UTMB, is dedicated to providing a world-class education with a global perspective. This collaboration includes faculty training programs, joint research projects, academic resource exchanges, and shared professional development opportunities. Recently, the first faculty training program, led by UTMB specialists, was conducted at Badya University, further enhancing the institution’s academic collaboration and research capabilities.
Prospective students can apply for the scholarship starting September 4. Detailed application requirements are available on the Palm Hills website: https://www.palmhillsdevelopments.com/ar/applyNow.
