The Egyptian Museum in Cairo has witnessed a big turnout of visitors during the start of the Lesser Bairam, said director Aly Abdel Halim Monday.
Speaking to MENA, Abdel Halim said the Egyptian Museum had enhanced the level of readiness to maximum prior to the feast.
He hailed as “effective” a decision by the Tourism Ministry to extend the official working hours at the Egyptian Museum to start from 7:00 a.m. instead of 9:00 a.m. as of the first day of the Eidul Fitr, noting that this has contributed to increasing the number of visitors.
