WASHINGTON – As many as 520,114,674 people were reported to be infected by the coronavirus globally, Johns Hopkins University (JHU) said on Friday.
It added that about 6,260,267 have died from the virus worldwide.
The US continues to be the worst-hit country in terms of infections, followed by India and Brazil.
In terms of deaths, the US came first as well, followed by Brazil and India came third.
