At the Egypt Image Conference, organised by the Arab Dialogue Organisation in partnership with the Cultural Development Fund, participants highlighted the shared responsibility for promoting Egypt’s image.
The conference, held under the title, “Keep it Beautiful,” called for supporting Gaza and Sudan in this critical time.
The conference discussed the role of cultural and media diplomacy and called for selecting qualified individuals to represent Egypt.
The discussion also touched on Egypt’s tourism sector and the importance of reviving the Holy Family Trail project, which portrays Egypt’s image as a land of civilisation, security, safety, and stability.
Participants stressed the need for Egyptians to stand behind their political leadership and recognise the country’s true treasure: a wealth of talented intellectuals who support both the nation and its leaders.
They also noted that spreading culture is instrumental in overcoming current challenges.
Additionally, they called for sustainable knowledge transfer to meet the needs of today’s youth, along with the promotion of green education.
They also praised the government’s efforts in global climate conferences to implement green tourism and use clean energy, showcasing Egypt’s evolving identity.
The event began with the Egyptian national anthem, followed by a presentation by Hanan Youssef, head of the Arab Organisation for Dialogue and the National Strategy for Egypt’s Image.
Youssef outlined the stages of the initiative and thanked the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Development Fund for their support.
She also announced that a reference guide will be created to implement the initiative’s programmes with the help of both governmental and non-governmental bodies.
The initiative will soon begin to take action.
The second phase of the Egypt Image Strategy was launched on February 25 at Al-Hanager Theatre, with Youssef reaffirming that the strategy aims to enhance Egypt’s global image under President
Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The initiative focuses on presenting a positive and honourable image of Egypt both domestically and internationally, emphasising Egypt’s soft power in media, culture, and intellectual contributions.
