Egypt’s Tourism and Antiquities Minister Sherif Fathy met Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Minister Stasa Kosarac in Cairo on Sunday to discuss strengthening tourism ties between the two countries.
The meeting, held at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) during Kosarac’s official visit to Egypt, focused on increasing two-way tourism flows and promoting the tourism attractions and products of both countries.
The officials also discussed encouraging additional air connections between Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as co-operation in tourism training and capacity building.
The two sides discussed their participation in Expo 2027, due to be held in Belgrade, including the organisation of business-to-business meetings between tourism sector representatives from both countries.
Following the talks, Kosarac and his delegation toured the GEM and the Giza Pyramids.
