CEO of the Egyptian Food Bank Mohsen Sarhan (EFB) and Lebanon’s Minister of Agriculture Abbas Hajj Hassan discussed on Sunday means to boost co-operation in various fields.
Hassan was briefed during the meeting on the bank’s expertise in providing healthy and safe food for people in need across the country.
The bank is playing a leading role in alleviating pressure of poor people and reducing poverty rate, Sarhan said.
Beneficiaries from the EFB’s programmes and initiatives are estimated at one million families.
