Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy opened the 44th International Hotel and Tourism Establishment Equipment Exhibition, Hace-Hotel Expo 2024 on Monday.

The exhibition, running from September 2 to 4 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre located in the Fifth Settlement, is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and organised by the Egyptian Marketing Company.

This exhibition ranks among the largest in Africa and the Middle East, dedicated to showcasing equipment and supplies for the hotel and tourism sectors. It creates a platform for established and emerging companies within the hospitality industry. Divided into six segments, the event underlines the trends and advancements in the Egyptian market.

Over 250 companies, both local and international, are participating, featuring the region’s most significant live cooking competitions in collaboration with the Egyptian Chefs Association. These culinary face-offs will conclude with an awards ceremony for the victorious chefs.

At the event’s commencement, the Minister explored the exhibition, stopping by various stations, engaging with exhibitors, and receiving comprehensive briefings on the showcased hotel and tourism products.

Throughout his visit, Fathy welcomed ideas for enhancing Egypt’s tourism sector and gathered impressions regarding the exhibition and participants’ experiences. Many commended the notable improvements and achievements at this year’s event.
