OUJDA – Zamalek football team left Morocco earlier Monday for Cairo, Egypt, after losing to Renaissance Berkane in the first leg of the African Confederation Cup final.
Morocco’s Renaissance Berkane beat Egypt’s Zamalek 2-1 at the Municipal Stadium on Sunday ahead of the return in Cairo next week.
The return leg next Sunday will be held at Cairo International Stadium.
Zamalek, aka White Knights, need to keep a clean sheet and secure a 1-0 win against Renaissance Berkane to clinch a second success in the continent’s secondary club competition.
