He said that young people across the world play a pivotal role in climate action, asserting the importance of engaging youth in the decision-making process because they are the ones who will suffer from repercussions of climate change.

One of the participants in the session asserted the importance of the role of youth in finding real solutions to climate crisis.

Meanwhile, Director of Climate Action Team of the UN Anne-Sophie Cerisola thanked the presidency of the event for engaging young people in the event, asserting that it is big step forward.

She asserted the importance of drawing up a clear roadmap to handle the climate crisis and providing necessary funds to provide climate justice.

Meanwhile, Mohieldin asserted that the need to work on implementing all the ideas and constructive plans that were raised in the 27th United Nations Climate change Conference (COP27), asserting the importance of cooperation and partnership to face challenges of climate change.

Mohieldin lauded the efforts exerted by Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy and Environment Minister Yasmin Fouad in climate change, asserting the importance of encouraging introducing changes to societal attitude and providing necessary funds to stand against climate change crisis.
