Under the auspices of Entissar El Sisi, the spouse of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sis, Minister of Culture Enas Abdel Dayem will announce the winners of the state award for young creators, during a press conference at Cairo’s Opera House Sunday.
During the ceremony, children will conduct a set of artistic performances at the Talents Development Centre at Opera House.
Several media professionals and senior journalists from a number of international news agencies will cover the event.
The award, launched in February this year, aims to give priority to children and young people in order to create a new generation of innovators.
“Paying attention to children and the rising generation is one of the priorities of the state to create a new innovative generation capable of making our aspirations and ambitions come true in a shining future,” Mrs Entissar El Sisi said in a brief speech during the launch of the Young Creators’ State Award last February.
The award will be granted yearly to youth under the age of 18 who create innovative products.
