SHARM EL-SHEIKH – Reham Gamal, member of the 4th edition World Youth Forum (WYF)’s organisation committee, asserted that the first day of the forum was very successful as all participants abided by the precautionary measures, praising the idea of the robot detecting regularly the temperature of the guests.
In statements to MENA, Gamal said the issues raised at the forum’s sessions gained much interest of the various international participants especially the social, economic and political impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the life in the post-pandemic phase.
She asserted that Egypt has exerted strenuous efforts in the field of digital transformation in a way that helped in providing all electronic services and easing measures for citizens to issue official documents and ban any crowds with the aim of maintaining and securing their safety and health.
The agenda of the forum also included the impact of climate change such as floods and forest fires along with other phenomena related to the weather, she explained.
The World Youth Forum is a platform built by promising youth. It sends a message of peace, prosperity, harmony, and progress to the entire world. It engages youth from around the globe in an enriching set-up, allowing them to exchange views and recommend initiatives to decision-makers and influential figures.
