A Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) research on manpower on the 4th quarter of 2021 showed that the unemployment rate reached 7.4% in comparison to 7.5% the previous quarter of the same year and with a 0.2% increase over the same quarter in 2020.
The workforce, including the employed and the unemployed, reached 29,653 million people during the fourth quarter of 2021 in comparison to 29,380 million people during the previous quarter, according to the results of the CAPMAS research.
