The World Bank (WB) asserted the impact of the Ukrainian crisis on prices of commodities is expected to continue in 2022.
In an infographic published by the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC), the WB expected an increase in energy prices by about 50% in 2022.
The infographic highlights the fallout of the Ukrainian crisis on prices of global goods in 2022.
According to the infographic, the Bank expected a rise in oil prices by nearly 40%, hitting a high of $100 per barrel.
The Bank also said coal prices are expected to up to 80% and wheat prices 40%, according to it.
