Egypt’s Tourism Ministry organised a workshop for representatives of the Egyptian tourism companies and hotels operating in the Chinese market within the framework of implementing a strategy of the ministry to promote for the Egyptian touristic sites in the targeted tourism markets to contribute to pushing the movement of tourism in these markets.
A statement of the ministry on Tuesday said that the workshop was attended by Head of Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA) Amr el Qady, Minister of the Chinese embassy in Egypt Zhang Chaoyang, Expert of the Chinese touristic studies and Head of China Outbound Tourism Research Institute Wolfgang George Alrt and other tourism figures.
Qady asserted the keenness of the ministry and ETA to be in the Chinese market which is one of the main tourism markets targeted by the ministry.
Qady reviewed the activities and tools of ETA to increase the number of Chinese tourists in Egypt and urged the Egyptian companies to work to increase the movement of tourism.
Meanwhile, Zhang lauded the keenness of the ministry in the Chinese market and ETA’s participation in several Chinese events held in Egypt
