Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa said Wednesday Nile tourism product is one of the important and distinctive tourism products for tourist destination because of the highly competitive advantage it offers.
This came during the Minister’s expanded meeting to discuss ways to develop and maximize the benefit of the Nile tourism product in Egypt, especially in light of the increasing tourist demand.
He highlighted the importance of this meeting and what will be presented and discussed during it.
He explained the importance of working to raise the controls and standards regulating the product in a way that contributes to improving the quality of tourism services provided with it.
The Minister spoke about the importance of working to increase the size of the floating hotel capacity in Egypt, which amounts to 15,752 floating hotel rooms.
He pointed out that there are targets to achieve growth in the number of these rooms to reach about 25,000 floating hotel rooms by the year 2030.
