CAIRO – Egyptian Awqaf Minister Osama el-Azhari said that the Suez Canal is an icon of achievement, lauding the tangible accomplishments of the canal throughout the past years.
This came during Azhari’s meeting with Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Osama Rabie on the sidelines of a religious seminar organised by the SCA, according to a statement of Awqaf Ministry on Thursday.
He said that abiding by divine values does not contradict with life interest, asserting that adhering to the values of religion is real guarantee to fortify the human spiritualities and improve the living conditions.
