The conference of Sudan’s civil political groups kicked off in Cairo on Saturday, themed “together to stop war in Sudan.”
The event is attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdel Ati and representatives of different Sudanese civil political groups and relevant regional and international partners to discuss ways to build comprehensive and lasting peace in Sudan through holding a Sudanese-Sudanese national dialogue.
Egypt’s hosting of the conference is part of Cairo’s ongoing efforts to put an end to the war in Sudan without any foreign pressures or interference attempts.
The conference is attended by representatives of Sudan’s powerful political and civil groups and a host of Sudanese ministers and heads of political parties.
