CAIRO – Sudan strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted personnel of the Egyptian military in western Sinai Saturday.
The attack left a military officer and 10 soldiers killed and five others injured.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry stressed such attacks would not let the Egyptian people down, expressing its solidarity and full support for Egypt’s efforts to combat terrorism.
It offered its heartfelt condolences to the political leadership and families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
