Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Sherif el-Sherbini, announced on Wednesday the launch of 25,012 residential units, with payments for reservations set to begin on Sunday via the Egypt Real Estate Platform.
The launch forms part of Phase Two of the ministry’s largest integrated housing programme, which aims to deliver approximately 400,000 units across multiple phases. The initiative aligns with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to provide suitable housing for citizens across all income levels.
Applicants can register through the Egypt Real Estate Platform by selecting the housing offers section or via reservations.realestate.gov.eg.
Users must create an account, follow the registration steps, download project brochures, select their preferred unit, and pay the reservation deposit starting from Sunday.
The newly launched units include 2,986 units across projects such as Ganna and Sakn Misr in New Mansoura and West Qena (414 units), Free Housing in New Suez City (1,680 units), and Rawdat Al-Obour (264 units), with a reservation deposit of LE151,000 per unit.
The programme includes 10,614 units under the Diarna project, with a reservation deposit of LE201,000 per unit, located across cities such as Sadat, New Borg El Arab, New Minya, New Nasser, New BeniSuef, New Sohag, October Gardens, New Obour, New Alamein, New October, New Suez, Badr, 15 May, New Damietta, and New Qena.
It also comprises 9,412 units in the Zilal project, with a deposit of LE251,000 per unit, situated in Obour, 10th of Ramadan, New Cairo, New Alamein, and Sheikh Zayed, along with 2,000 mixed housing units in New Ismailia, requiring a deposit of LE151,000 per unit.
Payments can be made via bank cards (Visa, MasterCard, Meeza), bank branches, online banking, or post offices.
Reservation deposits will be accepted from November 16 to December 15, with detailed unit information available from January 4, 2026. Unit prices per square metre, along with full terms and conditions, are included in the project brochures, which will be accessible at the start of the reservation period.
