The Egyptian Ministry of Sports and Youth will launch an Arab Youth Summit here Friday in cooperation with Tahya Misr Student Union.
The summit comes within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s initiative to declare 2023 as the year of Arab youth, according to a statement released by the ministry on Thursday.
Around 200 young people from different Arab countries and a galaxy of public figures and State officials will take part in the summit that is held under the auspices of Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi, the statement added.
The summit will discuss how to empower Arab youth, boost their participation in community work, build their awareness about Arab common issues and strengthen their participation in youth initiatives on supporting Arab identity, as well as promoting their role in achieving sustainable development in their communities.
