CAIRO – Egyptian Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhi asserted the depth of Egypt-UAE relations in all fields especially Egypt’s success in the organisation of Zayed Charity Marathon in 2015, noting that Egypt is fully ready to organise the 7th edition of the marathon.
The minister’s remarks were made during his meeting Monday with representatives of Abu Dhabi Sports Council at the Ministry’s premises.
The revenues of the seventh edition of Zayed Charity Marathon will be allocated for “Ahl Masr” Trauma and Burn Hospital.
Sobhi, on his part, said Cairo’s hosting the marathon asserted that both sides are keen on further enhancing their ties.
Secretary General of Abu Dhabi Sports Council Aref Al Awani, Executive Director of Zayed Marahthon Nasser Al Zaabi as well as top officials of the Ministry of Sports attended the meeting.
