Egyptian Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhi on Wednesday inaugurated via the videoconference the first sports festival for embassies.
The festival is organised by the ministry in co-operation with the sports union for civil servants.
As many as 18 African, Arab and European embassies are participating in the 10-day festival.
The embassies represent the states of Brazil, UAE, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Libya, Uzbekistan, Algeria, Indonesia, Sudan, Bulgaria, Djibouti, Britain, Tajikistan, Palestine, Serbia, Czech, Somalia and North Korea.
