Egyptian Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhi asserted on Wednesday that the government is keen on fostering cooperation with African states in all fields within the directives of President Abdel Fatah El Sisi.
This came during his meeting with Foreign Minister of Sierra Leone David J Francis and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they tackled benefiting from the Egyptian scientific and academic expertise in the fields of teaching curriculum in various sports fields as well as Sierra Leone’s minister’s keenness to let the Egyptian government establish specialised sports academies in all sports in Sierra Leone to help the sports institutions in Sierra Leone.
While Foreign Minister of Sierra Leone hailed the Egyptian political leadership for its continuous support to Sierra Leone. He also lauded the Egyptian model in the fields of sports and youths, especially after the recent Egyptian achievements in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
