The logistics investment sector is witnessing a major transformation with the establishment of the “Sphinx Crop Trading Centre”, managed by the Future of Egypt Authority for Sustainable Development.
The centre is strategically located 25 km from Sheikh Zayed, 60 km from Shubra, 70 km from Heliopolis, 82 km from Helwan, 90 km from New Cairo, 170 km from Alexandria, and 220 km from Al Alamein.
Spanning nearly 500 acres, the logistical hub is set to become the largest integrated crop trading centre in the Middle East. It includes specialised markets for vegetables, fruits, and fish, as well as cold storage facilities, sorting and packaging stations, an agricultural commodity exchange, and a multi-purpose business and financial district aimed at supporting local and international trade.
