CAIRO – Akram Ahmed Younis, regional director of China’s Solar Cells company for the Middle East, said the solar energy market in Egypt is promising and an investment magnet.
Speaking to MENA on the sidelines of his participation in a solar energy exhibition, Younis said Solar Cells company is the third biggest producer of solar cells worldwide and since 2021 it has became number 9 as a global energy cell manufacturer.
He expressed pride over the high-turnout and big participation of major specialized companies inside and outside in Egypt in the exhibition.
He added that his participation aims at spreading the solar energy culture and offering solutions to power cuts in Egypt, saying such kind of problem is being addressed by world countries via solar or wind energy.
