The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) announced on Monday the arrival of the cruise ship “AROYA” at Sokhna Port.
The vessel, carrying 2,351 tourists of various nationalities and a crew of 1,500, docked at 8:00 AM, arriving from Safaga Port.

The Maltese-flagged AROYA, measuring 303 meters in length with an 8.5-meter draft, is scheduled to depart Sokhna Port for Jeddah on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

This visit underscores the SCZone’s commitment to boosting maritime tourism within its ports and solidifying its position as a regional hub for tourism, maritime services, and logistics. The zone’s strategic location on the Red Sea and Mediterranean, coupled with ongoing port development initiatives, aims to enhance its regional and international competitiveness.

The arrival of the AROYA also notably coincides with Eid al-Adha, demonstrating the SCZone ports’ operational readiness and efficiency even during peak seasons and holidays.
