ADMINISTRATIVE CAPITAL – Egyptian International Co-operation Minister Rania el Mashaat said Sunday that the private sector received 10.3 billion dollars worth of soft finances in the period between 2020 and 2023.

She put the number of private sector facilities in Egypt at 3.4 million, including startups, giant companies, SMEs and investment funds.

The minister was speaking during a press conference to launch the “Hafiz” platform – a comprehensive initiative aimed at providing financial and technical support for the private sector.

The platform will offer a range of 75 services, both financial and non-financial, from 20 different development partners to businesses operating in Egypt.
