Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi voiced appreciation for Egyptian women as symbol of giving.
“On the International Women’s Day, I extend my greetings and appreciation to every Egyptian woman; the symbol of giving, patience and planning; the active partner in development, construction and advancement; and the source of support for her country in all circumstances and conditions,” he wrote on his official Facebook page.
“On this day, we affirm the state’s commitment to supporting, empowering and caring for her.”
May every Egyptian woman always be inspiring, strong and giving, he concluded.
