CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Senegalese counterpart Macky Sall witnessed Saturday the signing of a number of MoUs to boost bilateral co-operation in various spheres.
Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and Senegal’s Petroleum and Energy Minister Sophie Gladima signed an MoU on cooperation in the electricity and renewable energy field.
Also, an MoU on cooperation in the field of antiquities and archaeology was signed between Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities and Senegal’s Museum of Black Civilizations.
Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled Anani and Senegal’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Aissata Tall Sall signed the document.
Also, Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and Senegal’s Minister Aissata Tall Sall signed a memo of understanding on cultural interactions between both countries.
Moreover, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Senegalese counterpart signed two MoUs on cooperation in sports and the mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and official passports.
