Dubai – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Monday that Dubai’s progress and prosperity constituted an inspiring development experiment to all countries in the region.
Sisi, in a meeting with UAE Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashed al Maktoum, said the World Government Summit (WGS) 2023, currently taking place here, will contribute to generating creative ideas in the face of the different regional challenges.
Sisi said he is leading an Egyptian high-level delegation to the WSG in the UAE, hailing as “deep” relations between the two Arab countries.
Maktoum, for his part, greatly appreciated the leading role of Egypt in defending the different Arab issues, said spokesman for the Egyptian presidency Ahmed Fahmy.
The ruler of Dubai also spoke highly of stances of the Egyptian political leadership and Cairo’s wise policies at the national and international levels, Fahmy added.
