President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called for observing to the details of the engineering designs of the main facilities inside the New Administrative Capital and the artistic murals it contains in a way that reflects the diverse, rich and ancient Egyptian history throughout the ages.
The President’s remarks came during his meeting Tuesday with Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Chairman of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces Major General Ihab El-Far and a host of top officials, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
During the meeting, the President also called for paying due attention to designs of the buildings and headquarters of the House of Deputies and Senate, the Egyptian Islamic Cultural Centre, Egypt’s Mosque and the People’s Square as well as the main entrances to the capital and the government quarter.
The President also stressed the importance of creating green spaces and applying the standards of civilized coordination in the new administrative capital in order to consolidate the image of the new Egyptian state.
The President also followed up the progress of the construction of a number projects being carried out by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority nationwide.
