president Abdel Fattah El Sisi called for boosting the activities of the Long Live Egypt Fund in the coming period to support the neediest families as part of the Decent Life initiative and to provide food staples during the holy month of Ramadan.
The president’s remarks came during his meeting with Presidential Advisor for Financial Affairs Mohamed Amin, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
During the meeting, the president reviewed the activities of the Long Live Egypt Fund and the ongoing and future plans of its projects in the field of supporting social protection programmes for the neediest groups.
He directed in this regard that the activities and programmes of the fund be strengthened in order to support the most vulnerable families in co-operation and integration with the relevant state agencies and civil society institutions, especially as part of the Decent Life initiative and its various programmes in all fields.
For his part, Major General Amin reviewed the overall activities and pivotal role played by the Long Live Egypt Fund in co-operation with state agencies in support of social protection programmes and its active participation in development projects, especially through the Decent Life initiative.
