Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said an enlightened religious discourse is one of the most important elements to face destructive extremist ideology.
Giving a word at a ceremony marking Laylat al Qadr, the night when the Prophet Muhammad received the first revelation from Allah, President Sisi called for exerting determined efforts to spread understanding and awareness of the issues of religion and homeland for a better future for the coming generations.
“This matter will back our primary goal to preserve the essence of religion and raise awareness among young people about the dangers of extremist thought,” President Sisi added.
President Sisi also called for continuing work to build the future of this country under a thorough understanding.
