President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on Wednesday with members of the Supreme Council of Bodies and Authorities, in the presence of Minister of Justice Counselor Adnan Fangary.

At the outset of the meeting, President Sisi extended congratulations to Egypt’s judges on the occasion of Egyptian Judiciary Day, which is celebrated on October 1.

He emphasised his deep appreciation for the pivotal role played by judicial Bodies and Authorities in upholding constitutional principles, safeguarding the rule of law, and protecting citizens’ rights, which ensure justice and promotes stability and social peace.

President Sisi reiterated the state’s firm commitment to judicial independence and non-interference in judicial affairs, describing this as a cornerstone for ensuring swift justice, consolidating the rule of law, reinforcing the system of rights and responsibilities, and strengthening national security and stability.

Justice Minister Fangary expressed his gratitude for the sustained attention and continuous development afforded to the judicial system under the President Sisi’s leadership.

He highlighted recent measures aimed at expediting case resolution and achieving swift justice, while also reviewing the technical development steps implemented across various judicial authorities.

The members of the Supreme Council of Judicial Bodies and Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the principles of justice and the rule of law, acknowledging the vital role the judiciary plays in building and protecting society, and ensuring justice and equality for all citizens.

They also commended the President’s consistent commitment to safeguarding the independence of the judiciary.
