President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan who is on a fraternal visit to Egypt.
Sisi received the UAE president at Cairo International Airport on Monday.
Presidential Spokesman Mohamed el Shennawy said that the visit comes within the framework of the deep-rooted and historic brotherly relations between the two countries.
He added that both President Sisi and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed are keen to strengthen and solidify those relations.
The visit also builds on decades of achievements since the founding of the UAE by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
