The Indian premier arrived on Saturday on a two-day official visit to Egypt at an invitation from President Abdel Fatah El Sisi.
Egypt-India relations have witnessed unprecedented leap at the various fronts over the past phase.
Modi’s visit to Egypt is the first of its kind since he assumed office in 2014.
