AMMAN – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi pays great attention to developing culture and arts sectors, Culture Minister Ahmed Hanno said.
In an interview with MENA Thursday, the minister of Culture said President Sisi prioritises building national personality and maintaining national identity.
The Culture Ministry has a strategy to restore Egypt’s pivotal cultural role in the region and the entire world , Hanno said, highlighting Sisi’s vision and directives to support the culture sector.
The ministry, with all its artistic and cultural sectors, will work according to a devised insightful vision to build the national cultural project, with especial focus on building the Egyptian character, added the minister.
Hanno pointed out that the Egyptian national identity is everyone’s responsibility and all Egyptians must join hands and work together in this regard.
