Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has directed the government to implement temporary closures along sections of the Regional Ring Road currently undergoing maintenance and development works, the Egyptian Presidency announced on Saturday.
According to Presidential Spokesman Mohamed El-Shennawy, the President emphasized the need to provide alternative, safe routes to guarantee the safety of citizens and facilitate the swift completion of the ongoing works.
President Sisi also instructed the Ministry of Interior to intensify traffic enforcement efforts in the coming period, particularly concerning speed limits and vehicle load restrictions. The President stressed that strict legal measures must be taken to address traffic violations, safeguard lives, and protect public property, El-Shennawy added.
