Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted that new wars, including the fourth and fifth generation wars, do not focus on arms only, but on awareness and correct understanding, saluting the martyrs of the army and police.

Addressing the graduation ceremony of new batches of the military colleges and institutes, Sisi reiterated the necessity of remembering the martyrs and the injured who sacrificed their souls in defence of their homeland.

He said the mission of the Armed Forces and police is to protect Egypt and its people regardless of any sacrifices.

He also saluted the families of graduates, noting that the fresh officers will be fully responsible for protecting their homeland and they are shouldering a big responsibility regarding preparedness and awareness.

Sisi sounded the alarm on the need to address our attention to all the developments taking place at all levels, adding that the graduates are about to start a new experience after they have finished their training and academic studies.

He extended greetings to the graduates of the military colleges and institutes, praying for God to preserve Egypt’s army and police.

Sisi asserted that the new phase facing the new graduates is very important in view of shouldering responsibilities of their nation.

He said: “The new officers have spent years in the army and we are responsible for their preparation, caring for them as well as protecting them and preparing them well for assuming their missions”.

“Preparing a human being is a serious mission and such characters should be fully aware of the developments taking place around them.” he noted.
