CAIRO- President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call from Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati to discuss developments in Gaza Strip and West Bank, and Egyptian efforts to reach a ceasefire and protect civilians, as well as the entry of humanitarian aid.
The conversation also addressed international efforts aimed at preventing the expansion of the circle of conflict in the region.
Sisi and Mikati also discussed working to revive the peace process with the aim of reaching a just and comprehensive settlement to the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution, achieving security and stability in the Middle East region.
