NEW DELHI – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi had talks with President of the European Council Charles Michel on the sidelines of an African-European summit that convened in the Indian capital, New Delhi, after the African Union was granted permanent member status in the Group of 20 top world economies on Saturday.
Presidential spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said talks between the two sides took up current pressing international files and the global food security crisis.
