Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi heads on Thursday for the Eritrean capital Asmara at an invitation from his Eritrean counterpart Isaias Afwerki.
Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said the visit is scheduled to address means of enhancing bilateral ties in various domains.
The talks will also review a host of regional issues as well as efforts to promote stability and security in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea in order to realize development, added the spokesman.
