President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said that the main goal of the national project for the development of the Egyptian family is to strike a balance between population and economic growth rates.
The President’s remarks came during his meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and a a host of ministers and top government officials, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
During the meeting, the President also called for improve the demographic characteristics and not only achieving population control, while addressing the main social issues and concerns of the Egyptian family.
The President also directed the government to integrate the efforts of the authorities concerned in this framework with the aim of managing the demographic issue from a comprehensive perspective that would improve the quality of life of the citizens from all health, social, family and economic aspects.
The President also called for according special attention to establishing accurate databases that would achieve effective communication with all segments of the society, and to benefit,In this regard, from the current efforts of the Decent Life Initiative to develop villages in the Egyptian countryside.
