Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi followed up on government efforts to support the participation of the private sector in investment in the health sector.
This came during Sisi’s meeting Sunday with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, with Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Minister of Justice Omar Marwan attending.
Sisi called for speedy completion of required legislative steps to facilitate the participation of the private sector in the health system, said the presidential spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
The president also reviewed the completion rates of a number of national projects in the health sector, where the executive position was presented regarding the opening of the first branch in Egypt of the French Gustave Roussy institute in partnership with As-Salam Hospital, as well as the development of the medical city at the Nasser Institute.
