Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed the bodies concerned to keep working for a holistic development of the National Authority for Social Insurance (NASI) through digital modernization archiving.
During a meeting NASI Chairman Gamal Awad and Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning Amir Sayed Ahmed on Saturday, Sisi added that improvement efforts should also cover enhancing the efficiency of the authority’s infrastructure and applying governance to disbursement and collection processes.
This improvement is part of the State’s efforts to scale up insurance services for pensioners and other beneficiaries for a social insurance system as effective and sustainable as possible, Sisi said.
The meeting addressed development efforts at NASI, as part of a comprehensive vision that involves modernizing the authority’s organizational structure and insurance offices, digitizing its services, according to Presidential Ahmed Fahmy.
The vision also covers HR development, achieving electronic integration and network connection with various government bodies, and improving the working environment, the spokesman noted.
