Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted that the long history of affection and brotherhood between Egypt and Saudi Arabia testifies to the depth of ties between the two peoples and to the strength and solidity of relations between the two countries.
President Sisi, in a post on his official page on social media, wrote “On the anniversary of the Saudi National Day… I extend my heartfelt congratulations and fraternal wishes to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman…wishing the brotherly Saudi people all the best, progress and prosperity.”
“The extended history of affection and brotherhood between Egypt and Saudi Arabia… testifies to the depth of ties between the two peoples and to the strength and solidity of relations between the two countries, which I affirm our continued aspiration to strengthen in a way that achieves the common interests of the two brotherly peoples and of our Arab and Islamic nations,” President Sisi said.
The president also wished further progress and prosperity for the brotherly Saudi people under their wise leadership.
