Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has described relations between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the pillar of stability of the Middle East and the entire Arab world.
The president’s statements came during a meeting Wednesday with UAE chief of staff Hamad Mohamed Al Romaithy in the presence of Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki and UAE ambassador to Egypt Mariam El Kaaby.
The spokesman for the Presidency said president Sisi entrusted the UAE military official with conveying his greetings to UAE president Sheikh Mohamed ben Zayed Al Nahayan, shedding light on relations between the two countries.
For his part, Romaithy said he was happy to meet the president and convey to him the greetings of the UAE leader.
He expressed the keenness on strategic cooperation between the two countries at all levels especially in the military domains and the exchange of military expertise along with coordination towards regional and international issues of mutual concern.
During the meeting the two sides agreed to continue coordination and consultations in all domains in the interest of the two peoples and Arab solidarity.
