Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has stressed the Egyptian state’s ability to confront and overcome the challenges it is going through.
“We are keen to build reserves to confront all challenges,” Sisi said at a session during the Global Congress on Population, Health and Development 2023 (PHDC’23).
During the session titled “population and future of healthcare”, the president noted that Egypt has great chances of confronting all challenges.
Despite all the challenges experienced by Egypt over the past 10 years, “we have made great efforts as a country and a people; as we were aware and appreciative of existing challenges and we have worked over the past years in an accelerated way in all fields to overcome the big gap between population growth and the rates of development we want to achieve,” Sisi said.
