CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi Tuesday directed improving tourism from all aspects through enhancing integration between the tourism and aviation sectors for the best added value.
During a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and a number of ministers and officials, the president called for making best use of the infrastructure of airports, hotels and tourist attractions that have been established and renovated across the country over the past few years within an integral and comprehensive development framework.
The meeting tackled following up projects of the civil aviation and tourism projects and the implementation of civil aviation development ventures in a way that increases tourism revenues and achieves the sustainable development, Presidency Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said.
The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Mohamed Maeet, Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Eissa, Head of the Armed Forces’ Financial Affairs Authority Ahmed el Shazli, President of the EgyptAir Holding Company and the company’s financial officer Louai Abdel Hamid.
